Today I had a very busy day when daddy got home. We went out to Gram-Gram and grandpa’s house for Pop’s birthday party. It was kinda cool since I got to meet my Great-Uncle Ron, Great-Uncle Eddie, and Aunt Jodi.  We sang Happy Birthday to Great Grandpa. I got him a picture frame with a picture of him holding me at my house.

Here is a video of Pop getting Happy Birthday sand to him. Excuse daddy since we just bought the camera tonight and he did not know it was going to happen when it did so he did not get the whole song in it. Sometimes I worry about daddy, kinda like he is a noob!.. LOL!! HEHEHE!!!

After we got home from Pop’s birthday party I decided to play in my jumper and daddy got that dad burn camera out again. He decided to film mommy playing with me. I guess there will be lots of videos soon since daddy has a new toy. At least for a little while that is.

Today when I woke up I did my normal routine. Wake up at 4:45am. Went to the babysitter to see my new girlfriend Sophie (shhhh… mommy and daddy don’t know yet..hehehe) and then mommy came and picked me up.

We went for our walk and I am not like most kids my age because I don’t go to sleep during the walks. Walks are serious business and I have to check out everything. I got to get to know the town and where all of the cool spots to hang out are.

Daddy got home from work and we spent time together before supper. Mommy and daddy ate and then I got my big surprise. I got to eat real food too. I got to eat sweet potatos. They were sooooo good.

I wasn’t sure what mommy was giving me at first but by the second spoon I knew exactly what to do. I also got to drink my water from a sippy cup instead of a bottle. The sippy cup was confusing at first but I got the hang of it real quick.

Mommy and daddy said I get to eat real food with them at supper now. Now I can grow really fast like a stink-weed (that’s what daddy says I am growing like.)

I wanted to wish everyone a happy Mother’s day! I’m very happy and proud to have my first mother’s day with Jace. Dave and Jace gave me my gift early in the morning before Dave left for work. Then Jace and I went to church. Jace bought me some carnations from Right To Life.

This afternoon were going up to Grandma and Papaw’s house for a cook out.

I thought that I would post Jace’s first meeting with Santa! We went to Holiday World on opening weekend. He didn’t want to smile for the camera but he loved Santa and just smiled at him and grabbed his fingers tight. Afterwards Santa gave him a little snowman, which Jace loves to play with.

Sorry it’s been so long since I posted. I thought that I would give an update on Jace.

He had another round of ear infection, this time a double ear infection. So we’re doing another round of meds. I don’t think the last one cleared up all the way before the next one set in.

He’s now up to 6 oz of formula every 4 hours. He’s also eyeballing our food at supper time and wants to sit at the table with us.

He’s also started laughing. It’s so cute. And we’re not sure if it’s because his nose is a little snotty, but he snorts! LOL

I found his like this one day after his nap. He thought it was funny that he had his thumb in his mouth and mommy caught him!

This is Jace today after his nap with his Teddy. The socks on his hands are the only things that we found that he keeps on his hands so he doesn’t scratch his head.

Here he is playing with a teething ring on his new pillow. We got a big round chair pillow for him to play on. He loves it!
