Happy 2nd Birthday!!

January30

I can’t believe that it’s been 2 years since we were blessed with Jace!!  It’s true that they grow up fast!  What a great two years!

We had cake and ice cream at the house with Mamaw & Papaw Gutgsell, Grandpa Gramelspacher and Annette & Spencer.  Jace had a great time!! I think he had a better time on his birthday then he did during the Christmas season!

We had a Wiggle party, of course!  I made Jace a Wiggle Cake (pictured below) that was Chocolate, chocolate chip.  It was so good and rich!  When guest showed up, Jace handed out birthday hats in the Wiggle colors…as Jace says them Murray (red), Greg (yellow), Anthony (blue) and Jeff (purple).

When asked how old he is he always says “OLD!”  He’s so cute!

Jace is talking up a storm.  You’d never think that he’s only 2 years old.  He knows most of his colors other then calling some of them by Wiggle names, but you can always get him to say the right color.  He can also count to 10 but for some reason he skips two for some reason.

Enjoy the photos

New MMORPG

November10

Some of you know that for the last couple of years I have played World of Warcraft nightly. I started playing 3 years ago when they were only a couple of months old. I can say that the game has been the best that I have played in a long time but the only issue is there is a $14.99/month fee to go along with it.

I did not have a problem paying the fee when I could get on line nightly but after Jace was born, the change in my career and other changes I do not get the opportunity to play much. It makes it hard to justify the monthly fee if you only get to play once or twice a month.

I have tried other free MMORPG games out on the market and after playing World of Warcraft as long as I have the others just don’t compare. The other night I actually got the opportunity to get on line and I happened to stumble across another MMORPG that is currently in Closed Beta called Runes of Magic. After going through the web site it appears this game is going to be the next best thing to World of Warcraft. It is hard to say right now based on the not knowing how the game play is since it is in closed beta.

The games is scheduled to release to the public either December 9th or 16th, 2008. The game will not have a monthly charge to it and it is free to download. I have posted a video of the user graphical interface below. So far the game kind of reminds me of a cross between Guild Wars and World of Warcraft.

Busy October

November7

Well it has been a while since we made a post so I thought I would try to catch everyone up for the month of October finally.

Jace has gotten so big and he thinks he can use the computer. He does get his time on it with mommy or daddy and he typically goes to the Wiggles web site or to the Sprout web site.

We went to Lark’s Farm and this seems to be the family tradition now. He enjoyed seeing the chickens and looking for a pumpkin.

After a couple of weeks we let him work on making pumpkins with mommy. They seemed to have fun. He was so proud of them all. He even helped decorate one for Thanksgiving with mommy.

Then of course was daddy’s birthday as we neared Halloween. He was a monkey and played the part very well.. LOL!

The day of my birthday was a memoriable one and probably will never get forgotten. Here are some snap shots from the 29th.

Here a few other random pictures from this month since there was nice weather. Hard to believe it has been October since the weather has been really nice.

We will try to do better with posting more often for those who come to the site. It has been crazy around here but with God willing things will calm down soon and everything will get back to normal… whatever normal is anyways.

Web Site

October13

Well after a long debate over how hard it was going to be for Amy to post pictures on what was going to be the new portal site I have decided to keep the one we have and just focus a little more on it.

I will be adding some things to this site in the future so check back often. My goal is to make an interactive family site we all can use.
