Today I went to pick up Jace’s pictures from Sears. Of course they send extras in the package to try to get you to spend a little more. Well they sent a 10×13 of this photo:

The sales lady just went on and on about how cute it was. And she asked since I wasn’t going to buy them if they could display it in their store. Of course I said they could!! So maybe the next time your down in E’ville and are in Sears, stop by and see if Jace is on Display!!

Jace is now sitting on his own…and getting good at it.

I thought I would update everyone on how Jace is doing!  He’s getting so big!  At his 6 month well baby he weighted 16 1/2 pounds and was a little over 26 inches long. He has one little tooth just barely up.  You can feel the top of it in there. He’s working on sitting on his own but he would much rather be standing.    Instead of crawling he has started doing this back scoot.  He lies flat on his back and arches up and pushes with his legs.  He’s getting around pretty good doing this.  We got his allergy test back and they show no allergies.  He’s doing so well with eating solids.  We’re up to meats now and he loves them!  And this morning he grabbed some of his banana and put it in his mouth on his own!  What a big boy he’s getting to be!  And he can use a sippy cup with the best of them.  He’s learned now that he needs to lift his arms up to get the water out of the cup.

I took Jace down to Sears in Evansville to get his 6 month pictures done. They turned out so well!! He’s just too darn cute!!

Here he is right after bath time!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Jace will be getting tubes in his ears this week. He kept having ear infections for 2 months so we went to a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist about 4 weeks ago and he still had some fluid in both of his ears. The last few nights he has not been sleeping well and is working on a cold again, which is normally how his ear infections started.

While he is out for the surgery they are also going to draw some blood to check for any allergies that he may have. We’ve been using hypoallergenic formula just incase that was the case of his ear infections and his eczema. His eczema seems to get worse when we are outside more.

He loved the fireworks on the 4th. Everyone thought that he would be scared but he just watched them and smiled!

Here’s Jace watching videos on the laptop. He thinks Crazy Frog is so funny! He also loves Genevieve Goings who sings Choo Choo Soul on Disney Playhouse. Every time she comes on he stops playing to watch. He loves his music.

Look what happens when you leave the room for one minute! This is the photo I’m going to enter in the baby photo contest at the Strassenfest. So make sure you vote for it if you are up there.

Look how big he is now! And no I’m not shrinking Teddy! LOL But I did just buy 3 more Teddy’s as back ups. Teddy gets bath about every week because he gets smelly and at this rate he’s not going to make it much longer!!

Jace just started sleeping on his side like this. I think it is so cute! Before he just slept flat on his back on his wedge. One night he rolled off onto his side and now he does it every night. And he always has Teddy hugged in tight!! We normally go in and pull Teddy out just to be safe.
