Christmas day, it was in the mid 50’s outside so we played outside. I bought this car when Jace was only like 4 months old at a yard sale for like $20. He loved it!
Yeah Baby!
Jace is getting so big now! Where did our baby go? He’s a toddler now!! He’s now getting 4 more teeth in…yes count them4! First it was just an eye tooth, which made him look a little like a hillbilly with the two bottom ones! But then the other eye tooth started to pop out and then the next day the two in the front! He self feeds all finger foods and what ever he can pick up on his own. He still just likes to play with the spoon. WE ARE PACI FREE!!!
St. Nick made it to our house this year! Jace didn’t know what to think when he got up and there we gifts in his stuffing. I wonder what the big round thing was? St. Nick left a big Micky Mouse Ball, a play cell phone, a book, a Santa drinking cup and some candy (not much)!

Jace is finally cutting another tooth!! It’s on the top left! He’s been kinda fussy this week and acting a little like his getting sick. Today he was super fussy and really chewing on stuff. So I checked it out and sure enough there’s a little point in there. So soon our two toothed monster will have three teeth!
I’m making myself say I’m done with Jace’s Christmas shopping…but I’m sure there will be just ONE more thing that I will just HAVE to buy!!
We have so much to be thankful for this year! We had a super day today! Dave and I put up the tree last night after Jace went to bed. When he woke up this morning we had the lights on the tree all turned on and the house was dark but the glow from the tree. We bought Jace out to the living room and his eyes just lit up! He loved it. He’s done pretty good today about not touching.
We went and had Thanksgiving dinner with Grandma and Papaw. Aunt Annette gave Jace his first gift of the year. We now have Christmas tunes to play in the car!
Last night Jace and I went to the square to see Santa! After seeing Santa a few times this summer, he’s like an old friend to Jace! A little boy the same age of Jace went in the see Santa a few people ahead of us and you would hear him screaming…I knew Jace would be different! We went in and he went right to him and just smiled at him!
Santa gave Jace a small treat bag of candy. Daddy and I ate most of it but Jace got his first taste of a Candy Cane. At first he wasn’t sure what I was putting in his mouth. But once he got that taste…MMMMM…he started sucking on it like it was his paci! He also loved the Smarties that I shared with him! Someone has a sweet tooth (I wonder which one of his two is the sweet one?)
